In the last of a three-part series, NextTribe follows the stories of Tom and Marti Mattia as they return to college to enrich their minds, their sense of self, and, unsuspectingly, their marriage, too.
Most commonly, people come into post-career education programs like TOWER Fellows as individuals seeking new inspirations and new challenges for personal growth and exploration. Often, a spouse will join in on the special presentations and social events reserved for the Fellows.
In fact, that was initially how Tom and Marti Mattia intended to engage their enrollment in TOWER Fellows: Tom would enroll fully and Marti would join presentations and social events that seemed interesting to her. As they investigated the program more and Marti learned about all the opportunities available, she no longer wanted to watch from the sidelines.
