TOWER FELLOW - DeboraH HARKINS

Back to College: This Time with Freedom to Explore

NextTribe featured our TOWER Fellows Program and 2019-2020 cohort member, Deborah Harkins, in the 2nd of a 3-part series
As successful professionals wind down their 30+ year careers, many begin to take great stock in the question, "what's next?" For those with little interest in a traditional retirement involving golf courses and tennis courts, a post-career educational program on campus can provide renewed interest in new pursuits.

When NextTribe – a lifestyle network whose mission is to inform, engage, and connect smart women aged 45 and up – asked us to know more about university-based encore programs, we connected them with 2019-2020 Fellow Deborah Harkins, and a chance to follow her for a day on campus to gain an insiders perspective on what the program is all about. Read the story to learn more about the TOWER Fellows Program and to get a day-in-the-life perspective of what it's like to be a college student – again.
